What a powerful message today! Just one word can save a life when someone is in distress. There is so much power in being kind. Thank you coach for sharing this message today.
I read a book “Sai Satcharitra” on Indian Saint Shirdi Sai Baba from early 1900s. I learnt a lot from this book. It shows how Faith and patience give the power to cross Mountains. Teaches important virtues to imbibe and to a purposeful life.
I also love this book “The Fakir” by Ruzben Bharucha. The Fakir is a breathtaking spiritual odyssey to your inner self, where God and Master dwell. Experience the joy of being alive, learn the simple yet life altering philosophy of compassion towards all. Best book I have read so far.

My goal is to read 1 book a month this year. So far I read make your bed: the little things that change change your life and maybe the world by admiral William h. Mcraven. It’s a short book but has some great points.

The best book I’ve read recently is “The Poet X” by Elizabeth Acevedo. It is a book written in poem verses about a young girl who has trouble finding herself in front of her mother and friends.

..it bothers you. A must read, esp. for our young , black men.👍

The best and favorite book ive ever read is As A Man Thinketh by james allen. And ill tell you. A very short read but it is powerful. You become what you think and your thoughts are powerful so much so you can actually mold your life with it.

The science of being great by Wallace D. Wattles. (Not done yet technically). I completely forgot about it and stopped reading it around August. I will definitely start again today.

I think Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds is a powerful novel for all young kids. It shows the circle of violence in inner cities as the main character looks to avenge his brother’s death after a shooting. It also shows that the main character does not know the truth, but learns it on each floor he encounters. And, it makes you realize that choices you make in haste ( the time it takes to ride the elevator down) can affect your whole life.

Being in a community is way more helpful to connect than just isolating in your comfort zone. Having a relationship where you trust someone and they trust you is a game changer when it comes down bring us up. After that, the positivity will spread rapidly, making the world a better place with togetherness!

The best book I have ever read was the “Mamba Mentality” book. Kobe gave a huge insight on how he was and his routine involving basketball, and even life. He showed the little things that he had to do in order to amount the accolades and become one of the all time greats!

Powerful message. It’s so true that sharing your pain and struggles helps.

One book I read recently is Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzero. It was so good to learn about how one cannot be spiritually mature if they haven’t become emotionally mature.
