My biggest distraction is my phone for sure. And not the fact that I’m always on a social media page but then I get down this rabbit hole of trying to find some information and then I get stuck. Another distraction I have is also my mind. When I have a lot of things do to I get overwhelmed and start focusing on EVERYTHING instead of one thing at a time. I definitely do need to limit my phone time during the day but also remind myself to just focus on one task at a time to keep myself from stressing out.

I get distracted by worry. Worry about caring fir my family. Worry about my to do list. I try to put things in perspective and do what I can do. Not to over analyze everything is also helpful.

One distraction I have is the never ending to-do list in my head. When I don’t get it down on paper and assign a little bit every day, I struggle to stay in the moment and focus. The never ending list continues to play in my head and cause me to get overwhelmed.

I am working to assign myself a few tasks every day so that I can stay focused and feel productive.

Good morning!!!!
Thanks so much for posting Amanda Gorman’s mic drop Inauguration poem “The Hill We Climb”
What a perfect day and her words were profound and needed!
I Am So Proud!!!! Words can hurt but hers can and will heal.
My biggest distractions are taking extra time to do things for others that I did not expect to have to do.
However, I do not let it derail me, I usually do my best to finish what was left undone later that night or the next day

My negative thoughts distract me. When this happens I need to think about things that empower me.

I would say that social media is my distraction and something I’m working on. What I should do instead is be mindful of this in the moment and do something of substance instead such as read a book or chat with my husband.

My biggest distraction are ideas. I have a lot of unfinished ideas in-the-moment that distract me from what I need to be doing.

My phone is a huge distraction. I go to check one text or make a phone call and next thing I know I’m playing games or scrolling social media. Before I know it 30-60 mins has passed.

My biggest distraction is my phone. Although I have been better at not getting distracted by it I still spend to much time on it when I can be doing more producing things.

My biggest distraction is definitely my phone. I have been trying to cut down on the time on my phone by deleting some apps that cause the most distractions and that has helped.

I often get distracted by other tasks I need to complete but I need to focus on the one I’m currently doing!

Distractions I know: my kids, my puppy, my phone.. these are big ones. I think the phone distraction is easiest to fix. Keep it in a drawer and check it only certain times throughout the day. Kids and puppy I need to work on.

Fear of failure will become a downfall for a person. Mistakes are a part of life, but you will succeed because of the fact that you adjusted and learned from your mistake to carry you forward towards your goal. Nobody is perfect, but you will be ahead of the pack in terms of your knowledge from your mistakes. With that in mind, we can share our experiences and help others grow and give others a piece of advice so they know what to do, when, and how to do it.

Sometimes I get distracted by watching TV shows while doing my homework. But, I’ve been fighting that habit and I can focus up pretty well now!

I should remind myself of what I should be doing instead of procrastinating.

My phone is my number one distraction! I’ve started waking up and not checking it until I leave the house for school, and that has been helping!

One of my biggest distractions is my phone / laptop. I’ll start off by researching for an important project and find myself getting off track. One way I can combat this would be to give myself a time frame to research a particular subject.

I would say my biggest distraction would be my mind and my phone, I say this because when on my phone, I go to a different realm where nothing else matters, and I just focus on me and the phone. I also say my mind because I am always thinking about things way to much, this leads to me over thinking. Finally some positive distractions I can think of, are basketball and working out, I am away from all the negativity and stress. I can relax and just play or focus on my body. I feel like its a escape and a distraction, however I believe this is an example of a good distraction.

Family and friends are my greatest distraction. I rarely do anything productive when I’m chilling with friends. I believe I need to manage my time better
