I just keep talking to myself and chanting positive/encouraging words
Great quote!!!
I do my best to apply the 4 Cβs
Did I cause the issue
Can I control the issue
Can I cure the issue
If not…I do not get Caught up in the issue
This approach has helped me evaluate whether I want or need to participate in the situation and most iffy I choose not to
I like your 4 cβs…I will have to remember that Eileen. I just tell myself, βThis too shall pass.β
I like this as well! Thanks for sharing ο»Ώπο»Ώ
A mental toughness tip I have is to get into a hyper focused and intense mood. Usually when I am in a physically tough situation, or really just need to get work done, I close my eyes and take a deep breath, focusing on what I need to get done. Usually, after I open my eyes, I am really focused and ready to go.
Being in the mood helps me not only focus more, but also go through more physical and mental tough situations.
Thanks for sharing Sidd! Do you think of anything in particular when you close your eyes?
Yes, I usually think of my purpose and why I need to focus and be tough.
That’s great! Thanks.
Mental health can affect everyone. This last year has proven that for so many. I love this platform because it spreads positivity!
Find things in life that bring you joy no natter how small or big.
One mental toughness tip that I love is making a checklist of no more than 3 items. When Iβm in a negative situation, I spiral if I donβt compartmentalize what I can do to spin it into a positive situation. The checklist helps me to recenter! Thank you for sharing!!
Looking at the bigger picture of life and the immense blessings I swing back to positivity in tough situations. Faith and Surrender to Higherself gives me immense strength and mental toughness in situations.
Yes I also do this as well! It really helps me put things in perspective and remind myself how blessed I am.
When I am training and want to stop, want to take a break, I remind myself of why I am doing this. I also think about who is in my support system which helps hold me accountable.
just know that it will get easier, it will be worth it in the end. the tougher situations always make you come out stronger than ever. you can learn a lot form hard situations. stay calm and keep pushing.
Keep chanting whoever you believe in!
Definitely prioritizing! Whenever I feel myself getting too overwhelmed, I try to calm my brain down by doing some sort of meditation or calming activity and prioritize what I will do next in order to get it done.
Depending on the situation, but I usually take a moment to visit my βWhyβ. Or, contact those I trust to guide me through the tough times. Or, reflect to the tough times that turned into victories.
