Thought

Perfectly Imperfect 

The definition of perfect is to be absolutely flawless, completely free from defects. You shouldnโ€™t let the way you think of perfection set the bar unnecessarily high and takes your attention away from the areas you should appreciate. The disappointment you may feel from not being perfect can steal your enthusiasm & diminish your effort and focus. 

Also, you learn and grow so much through your imperfections that you need to embrace the mistakes that help you move things forward to a more desired result.

So I propose this: Strive to be perfectly imperfect. 

The imperfect part gives you permission to make mistakes and get a little messy sometimes when working towards a certain outcome. The perfect part can bring you a sense of confidence that things are going the way they should, even though there are flaws and maybe things to figure out. 

When all is said and done, you should pursue excellence and not set your standards so high that you don’t value your contribution and experiences. The path to greatness isnโ€™t fully paved.
