One thing I plan to do to improve my planning method is set reminders for the things I need to get done at a certain time. For example, I will set reminders on my phone when I need to read my book, and practice self care, etc.

I have not started the he 7 day calmness challenge but will start today. Life has gotten out of focus for me and I need to hit the restart button. This challenge seems a really good way to do this.

I struggle with the need for sleep (the older I get, the more dependent I am on getting adequate hours of sleep if I am to be able to focus throughout the day)…. with the need to get up early to plan my day, my life. I will make a very strong effort to get in bed my 10:30pm so that I can get up earlier to execute my plan effectively.

Day 1: Despite intention, I found myself letting the anxiety of others impact my sense of calm. Tomorrow I will practice deep breathing when/if outside influences or negative thoughts surface.

Day 2: Better today although not where I need to be. There were multiple opportunities to negatively impact my calm – 4 hour drive in traffic, etc… I practiced deep breathing…

Day 3: I will support my teenage children but will let them make their own mistakes and learn from them. I won’t let the need to “fix” their shortfalls impact my day of clam and peace. Easier said than done 🙂 but that is today’s mission!

I like your mission- but I am struggling to understand “what is the right thing to do?”
I guess some battles are to be lost n some are to be fought and the wisdom to choose which ones to be persistent on and which ones to let go is the key.

I like to have a plan for the next day already in my head when I go to sleep. I then use Google Calendar to help visualize my gameplay for the day.

After watching today’s video, I plan to make a game plan at the start of each month, week, and day (I already have day, but I’m going to make it coincide with month and week). I think this will help focus myself and sort out my priorities.

Something that I need to get back into in terms of planning is using my planner. I haven’t used it in a couple weeks and I do notice when I actually write things down, lots of things get done! I don’t want to rely so much on the reminders on my phone even though I use it all the time.

One thing I plan to do is to create a schedule for myself especially over the summer so I can be more efficient

I create a schedule of my day everyday and make sure I get everything done. It works because it holds me accountable and makes me feel responsible to get everything done

One thing I believe is helpful for planning is time management. Just don’t be so careless with time. Use what you can to be productive

I started writing out my plans and listing the steps need to make the plan work. This has helped me out a lot. I always say I’ll remember but I never do and then I get side tracked. By writing it out I’m able to continuously look back at my great. I know what’s my next step and can make any tweaks along the way that’s needed.

My tip for executing your plan is to set a deadline for it.
