I am persistent. Persistence is consistency through opposition and adversities. Discipline to keep going is required regardless of which word is used to describe never giving it. Persistence implies you have discipline AND resiliency.
I absolutely LOVED the video! It was amazing! That channel has earned a subscription! Anyway, I believe I am more persistent than consistent.
They both relate to discipline. For example, the discipline that comes or is needed for consistency and persistence is very large in my opinion, but I believe that persistence requires more discipline most of the time. That is because often, for consistent action, the hardest part is getting started and getting started is where discipline is used the most. But for persistence, the whole ride requires lots of discipline and focus. Iβm not saying that consistency doesnβt need discipline and focus, but just that the up and down situation that often requires persistence usually needs more discipline.
Great insights Sidd!
Thank you!
One thing I took away from the video is that you will always have ups and downs. No matter how good you are it will happen, so you have to be aware of that.
I think I am more consistent. At times persistent it depends on the situation. With my job I can be very persistent with my students and my expectations of them. Consistent how I move through life, working on being positive and kind.
I think that discipline relates to both consistency and persistence, and are challenges in different ways. It requires discipline to stay consistent, especially when it feels much easier to give up. Sometimes I feel the mental toughness of consistency can be more of a challenge than the discipline required of persistence, which is that of facing a roadblock and fighting to overcome it to continue working towards a goal. Persistence requires grit, while consistency requires mental focus, and both can be challenging in their own way.
I think Iβm more persistent. I think if you are consistent and keep up with things and stay on track and you persistently try and make it better kind of like an obsession is how it ties together
I move through this journey of life with an understanding that every tomorrow will be a better yesterday. I move from faith to faith and glory to glory in search for a better version of me and preparing for a better future.
I am currently more consistent. Both lend to self discipline by both working to provide structure. They are also tools to help individuals achieve their goals and dreams.
I am more persistent than consistent. I think these both relate to discipline because combining both and doing them well means that you are disciplined in terms of working on whatever you want to.
I’m definitely more persistent than I am consistent. I’m able to deal with a lot of aggravation and frustration and I continue to move forward despite it all. I think both are needed definitely as disciplines because persistence is needed to keep going through the hard times however consistency is attitude to just keep going no matter what.
I think I’m both consistent and persistent. I’m very consistent and reliable but when the situation demands my persistence in order to keep my consistency I switch up Lol.
That’s great April! Nice job ο»Ώπο»Ώ
I think I am more persistent. I am working to become very consistent again. I believe you have to be disciplined to understand there will be obstacles you need to persist over. But you need discipline to stay consistent with your actions and hold yourself accountable.
