Confidence is an inside job. It shows outwardly when you have a strong sense of purpose and are comfortable with who you are and not depending on the opinions of others.
Confident in their strength and mind. We are stronger then we know and can endure a lot but it’s the lack of confidence that keeps us at bay.
I think that people need to have confidence in their actions. If you are constantly second guessing your actions it will not have. You have to be confident with your decision because you can’t go back and change your actions.
I think to be confident a person needs to trust their instincts. They also need persistence to stay the course of whatever it is they want to accomplish.
In my humble opinion, a person needs to be confident with what it means to be human before he/she can be successful in life. By that I mean a person must have a realistic and mature understanding and acceptance of the fact that all humans are flawed, limited, and dependent.
Truly knowing that everyone is flawed and imperfect should help release insecurities in one’s self-image, skill set, and personal performances. An unhealthy need for validation, settling for less, and/or sabotaging oneself with unattainable goals due to a “keeping up with the Joneses” mentality shouldn’t occur if one is okay with his/her physical and behavioral flaws that, in the long run, won’t hinder him/her being a person of good character.
Earnestly perceiving one’s limited capacity should eliminate the “know-it-all” attitude, which, in turn helps foster a teachable attitude and willingness to learn from others that many successful people avow is the key to their achievements. One cannot be a mentee if he/she thinks he/she is wiser than the mentors of the world.
Lastly, comprehending that everyone is ultimately dependent on others frees one to collaborate with others to obtain success. We all need each other and no one’s success was attained without the aid of another. No man, woman, boy or girl is an island.
So, to be successful, I believe that one must be keenly aware and accepting of his or her humanity.
Great insights!
Being confident means knowing that you can handle the emotional outcome of whatever you’ll face. Begin by acknowledging every emotion, including difficult emotions, rather than avoiding them.
I think being confident starts with having a schedule, because if you wake up every morning dedicated to feeling great, I believe confidence will follow.
confident in yourself (which i’m still working on). if you don’t have confidence in yourself then you will rely on others which won’t help you.
I totally agree!
first off I LOVE the confidence quote , most woman are victims of that. I think a person has to be confident despite the obstacles life presents, in b order to be consistently successful. This is not easy. Also most leaders and bosses are confident. The power to not 2nd guess yourself will take you to new heights!
You need to be confident with yourself. Self-confidence is the foundation to achieving true success. With self-confidence you will be self-assured enough to try again after failures and not doubt your abilities. I also like Hayden’s point about not relying on others.
I believe a person needs to be confident in how they work and their work ethic. Here is the big reason why:
Do you agree? Disagree?
A person needs to be confident in attacking fear head on. If you’re able to get through a lot of the small moments in life where fear is stopping you from starting, you’ll be able to build up your self confidence significantly.
Confidence comes from positive self love and beimg able to walk to your own beat without caring what others do or think. Some of the most interesting people I have ever met were full of confidence and had their own rhythm.
They need to be confident in themself
Confidence starts with how the person feels on the inside. Building yourself up and not looking for validation from outside sources.
Confidence I all internal, you are unable to do
Completely understand how someone feels because you are not them, and you don’t know why they feel that certain way. To be successful in life you need self confidence in yourself, having confidence in your ability to do right.
A person needs to be confident with their mind and actions. They need to believe that their mind can lead them anywhere and be confident with their actions. They shouldn’t always hesitate or second guess themselves or they won’t get where they want to be.
Thinking through various possible outcomes and preparing for the worst, this removes fear which translates to improved confidence
I can do relate to this video.
I was in the same situation as Simon sinek’s sister. with my previous job, I lost my confidence but since I start with another company I gain back my confidence & credit goes to my boss as he always says it’s ok to make mistakes & figure out by yourself!
I think that in order to be successful in life, someone needs to be confident in the idea that if they’re not doing anything wrong, then they shouldn’t be afraid. I think that too many times I end up feeling scared about what other people would think or if I would get in trouble even though I wasn’t doing anything wrong at all.
When I am confident with where I am in my process 😌 I can move forward and get things done. When I lack confidence I am stuck and afraid 😨 to make a move.
People need to be confident with who they are naturally. As long as you know and are proud of who you are, there is stopping you.
