Thank you!
I have improved me ability to focus when it comes to doing one thing at a time. For example, I used to try to multi task and try to do multiple things at once. But I have improved my focus so I often do not get distracted by those things and laser focus on one thing at a time, and then move on to the next ( for most things). When I do something, I am now DOING THAT THING.
I realize that success at certain tasks take great concentration and everything else needs to take a back seat. While in high school, I recall focusing intently on my races at track meets. At home, everything fades into the background during my 20-minute workouts. However, life usually doesnโt afford me the luxury of working solely one one thing. To meet job-related deadlines or get chores done in the house without using up worship, family and personal time, I need to multitask. Thereโs always unforeseen demands that pop up too. Life is mainly like driving a car. You MUST do several things simultaneously or fail.
I have improved my ability to focus on one thing at a time. I found I am most effective with it when I tell myself beforehand what I need to focus on and make a conscious effort to do it.
I think I have improved my focus on one thing at a time. Especially when it comes to bigger projects, Iโve gotten better at breaking them down so they are more manageable to accomplish.
gm, if I’m being honest NO, ๐.
I’m still working on it. I have a Long to do list (personally and professionally)
I believe I have improved my focus. Iโm doing a lot better with accomplishing goals
I have improved on my ability to focus on one thing at a time, iโve been limiting distractions during school and other activities
Day 1: Despite intention, I found myself letting the anxiety of others impact my sense of calm. Tomorrow I will practice deep breathing when/if outside influences or negative thoughts surface.
Day 2: Better today although not where I need to be. There were multiple opportunities to negatively impact my calm – 4 hour drive in traffic, etc… I practiced deep breathing…
