The greatest gift you can give to those you love is to live your life to your full potential thereby showing them how to do the same.” ~Hal Elrod

Thought

I think this is a great quote! My interpretation of it is in three parts.

GRATITUDE

First, the gratitude for life and your loved ones is reciprocated through living and how you decide to live. You never know if the opportunities you have will always be there or how long your life will be so you should take advantage by doing your best and making the most out of living.

JOURNEY

Secondly, we can get a lot of results but the journey can also be very fulfilling. What I mean is, living your life in a way that you can create special experiences moment-to-moment can really make living at your best worth it, regardless of the final outcomes, but based on your steady inputs. With that said, you’ll probably produce great results anyhow.

EXAMPLE

Lastly, wouldn’t it be great to know that you set an example for others and they made amazing experiences out of their lives based on how they saw you do it first? The ripple effect could be tremendous if they continue to be the example for others to follow. And it all starts with you and the choices you make to live at your best. Think about it for a second, it’s a complete win-win and all it costs is for you to do your best with what you have. I’m not saying that you’re not already trying to live at your best but just to be more intentional about it. Totally worth it!

I am interpreting ‘recent past’ as sometime in the last couple of weeks. In that case, my favorite, impactful and meaningful message was March 27.
The patience challenge that we have started has made me grow as a person in a way I didn’t at all expect to happen. I became more calm, despite that week being very crazy with packing and extremely late planes and deadlines galore.
I really felt impacted by that challenge and hope we can do something with the same framework again! Maybe it could be a monthly thing where we focus on one idea every month and improve it drastically. Idk just a thought.

There were so many and yo narrow the most impactful one is between Thank You and today’s message. So, I will choose today’s because it is so important to live our best lives so that someone that isn’t clear on where to start living theirs has a model to learn from.

I liked the April 8th “part of success” message a lot. Sometimes I am usually scared of failure and trying to avoid it, but that post reminded me that failure is not only a part of success but helps me grow and learn from it.

The messages that are most meaningful to me are the ones that remind me to be grateful in life. I think two days ago was about gratitude. The ones that have been most impactful for me, have taught me how to live a more intentional life, with my routines and work at getting better at different aspects of my life.

So many great tools and insights shared daily – very difficult to pick out which ones are best. Love hearing the stories of people who have been successful at their craft or seemingly reached another level of wisdom (ie love love love the recent Mandela clip and have watched it multiple times!). In addition to inspirations shared, the clips with tangible actions have been incredibly helpful. (I.e. the one on steps to get better in one month – I find myself going back to that one often when I find myself slipping. And in general just small reminders to always stay positive and moving forward – the 1% truly makes a difference to change thoughts and encourage action. Thank u Q!! This is awesome!

March 27 – Patience is the Calm Acceptance
April 5 – Faith to Move Mountains
These are the most meaningful to me because they relate to patience. Patience is something I need to work on to improve my life and the life of those around me.

wow, there were so many great messages coach that influenced me , but a few off the top of my head were: ” Scheduling your habits..that was great advice because its not a natural intuition for me. I need advice on organizing thoughts. I also appreciated the tip on laughter, one of those silly things that people underestimate but none of these goals really work if your heart is heavy and you’re not happy.
See you on the next meetup!

I really enjoyed the video from Kobe this week that failure doesn’t exist. I think he did a great, simple job of explaining why he thinks this. I hope my kids follow his advice when they are playing basketball, football, soccer, anything. I thought I could join today, but it looks like I will not be available. Looking forward to the next one.

I have looked back on the messages but i dont think I have a specific one that really stands out. Im saying that because a lot of the topics are very powerful its just really hard to chose one. Dealing with fear and procrastination have been the 2 topics that I have had to face many times since joining the 1% tribe. It has been a very humbling experience and there are unfortunately many failures that still happen because of those two habits. The great thing is I just make sure I keep making the right adjustments and get back up and try again. I know it sounds simple but when you really buy into the failure being part of your development, you get excited as to where the adjustments will take you.

April, 5 “FAITH to Move Mountains “. Every part of this message helped me move forward from places I was stuck. I need patience with myself and a clear vision of where I am going. I gained greater clarity of what success looks like for me.
