15 Powerful Lessons You Can Only Learn Through Experience

No matter how many degrees we have or what kind of education we received, there are some thing that only life can teach us-lessons that we only learn in the school of life.

1. The meaning of purpose.

“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.”~Friedrich Nietzsche.

We may graduate with honors and pick a great career, but it can still make us feel unfulfilled, this is when we learn the importance of finding meaning and purpose in our lives that goes beyond the realm of a secure job and a good education.

2. How to be independent.

“To find yourself, think for yourself.”~Socrates

We learn that we have to stand on our own and take care of ourselves. Our parents and teachers won’t guide us anymore, so it’s just us against the world and we have to be prepared for it, because no one is better equipped to answer our own questions but ourselves.

3. We can’t control time.

“You can have it all. Just not all at once.”~Oprah Winfrey

Life teaches us that we won’t always get what we want right away, it teaches us that we still don’t have control over time no matter how good our time management skills are and no matter how good we are at predicting our future. If it’s not our time yet, we can do nothing about it.

The title of my book would be, “Still Searching”. I say this because I am still searching for who I am and want to be. Still trying to figure out what to do at this stage in my life.

The school of hard knocks. Nothing has come easy for me. There has been a struggle to get where I am. I have been knocked, pushed, shoved, kicked, etc. the entire course and they are still coming. However, I’m learning and growing through every scrap and bruise.

Good morning everyone! My book would be called “What Will Happen next?” My book would be called that because things in my life always change sometimes good other times bad, but they always change. Sometimes I know how the day will go but then it turns on my like that. That is why my book would be called that because I never know what will happen next.

title of my book would be “fighting to live, not fighting to survive”. a lot of people live with the mentality to want to be “okay” in life. I want to live and really live. I want to be content and happy in life.

Everything Happens for a Reason
As I’ve grown up and continue to have more life experiences it is so clear to me that everything truly happens for a reason. Even if it isn’t clear in the moment why, it will reveal itself eventually.

The title of my book would be “Purpose Fulfilled”. Throughout my 20s, it felt like I was going through a midlife crisis trying to figure out what exactly I’m meant to do in life. Thinking I did something wrong along my journey. I was only focused on career. Now that I’m in my early 30s, I definitely don’t have it all figured out. But what I do know is that purpose doesn’t necessarily translate to career. It’s how you treat people. How to be of service for others. That’s true purpose and fulfillment.

I think my book would be called “the hills among us” that is because hills are a metaphor for problems and struggles and life is always about growing and as the thought for today says, experience is the greatest teacher. I feel like I am always going through something or another, and depending on the size of the hill, reflects on how long it may take to climb the hill.

Blessings through pain. The outcome of every challenging experience in my life has been growth and progress. I focus my mind on past trials when life gets tough….. and get excited about the possibilities once I get to the other side on the issue. Life has taught me there is ALWAYs a positive next chapter.. just keep living.

The title of my book would be No Regrets…well just a couple. That’s because I believe in life we are where we are supposed to be. Our path isn’t planned out but our decisions will lead us to where we need to be. Yes sometimes we make the wrong choices but we are shaped by those choices and decisions to where we are in the present. There are a couple choices I regret taking but if I did something else would I be where I’m at now? Nope

Failing is a part of life. Without that component, we will never be able to learn how to adjust. We are not perfect, so we will make mistakes, but living life cautiously to not make a mistake, we won’t learn at all. Mistakes are the best thing that will ever happen to us due to the fact that we will learn and try again. We will eventually reach the pinnacle because we learned. Learning is essential, so be happy to make adjustments.

The title of my book would be The Biography of VIBHUV SHARMA, because I don’t think titles have to be too meaningful all the time. If it’s a biography, I think its fine to just call it “the biography of…”

I think that it’s important to find something to do that you enjoy. If you are doing something that you don’t like to do, but you are really good at it won’t be worth it. Your are better off pursuing something that you enjoy.

The title of my book would probably be “the jack of all trades” because i feel like i’ve tried to do a lot of different activities, but I don’t really excel in one activity or another.

Title of my book would be “The Agile Mind”. All the topics discussed in this forum are targeted to help us take incremental steps towards our goals and how to take feedback at each step and recalibrate. My journey in life has been very similar, lots of up/downs and adapting to constant changes
