PASSION
- This is PART TWO of the selfie accountability challenge! A week ago, you were challenged to “Imagine yourself seven days from now & make a video encouraging for that version of yourself (your next Wednesday the 14th self).” TODAY, you need to watch that video and see what your week-old self had to say. Was there anything valuable that you can take away from this exercise? Please share in the comments.
- If you didn’t make the video a week ago, go back to PART ONE of the challenge and follow the instructions.
- Are you journaling daily? Weekly? If so, do you suggest it? If not, why not? Please share your insights in the comments below.
PLEASE rate today’s message below. I want to bring you the best I can deliver and your rating helps me know what you value so please rate the message.
Thank you!
I journal daily, and yes I highly recommend it. It is a great way to get things off your chest and is very therapeutical
Hi, Tori.
My wife writes about her dreams, her accomplishments, her goals, and her feelings Like you, my wife states how therapeutic and freeing it is. Keep writing!
The most valuable thing I had to say was believe in you work. This week I missed out on a couple thousand dollars in the stock market because I second guessed my research. I also have to believe in my work on the court too. I have to trust that the work I put in will pay off.
I don’t journal everyday. However it’s something I start And stop often, but I wish to become consistent with it. I believe it can be a source of relief for those who don’t feel comfortable expressing themselves orally
Don’t worry, Gralen, you’ll make a killing next time. $$$ Consider your experience a lesson well learned.
Greetings, Tribe.
I’ve been MIA for a bit due to a death in my family, but I should be posting and responding to your insights and inquiries more regularly moving forward.
To answer the query at hand, I must admit that I haven’t engaged in journaling for many years.
I used to make about 2 or 3 entries a month, detailing personal “miracles” in my life that I wanted to look back on for encouragement whenever I was in a rough spot.
The question posed in this forum has inspired me to restart this blessed practice.
Thanks 1% Tribe for inspiring me to do better and not remain stagnant.
Have a blessed day!
I’m sorry to hear that Marlon, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
I write out goals everyday which is effective but I want to start more complete Journaling that way I can look back at my memories and mindset at certain points in my life.
I journal nightly before I go to bed- gratitude journal. It helps to reflect on all that I am grateful for . I also recommend journaling.
I think this exercise was definitely valuable, my April 7th self had a lot of motivating actions for me to take. I felt I had time to reflect on my past week and if I was living it to the best of my ability.
And yes I do journal daily. It is really good and makes me feel more centered each morning.
I can’t seem to journal consistently which is a shame because I know there must be value in getting your thoughts down on paper and journaling your growth. Not sure why I have this block… started and stopped for years. I do write down daily goals.
I am kind of journaling but just having really committed to it enough. I usually journal about once every two weeks which I need to improve to everyday. I understand the benefits of journaling and know how helpful it really is. I need to start journaling consistently again.
I don’t journal as often as I should physically but this may seem strange that I actually journal verbally everyday
I am so grateful for my new super power of meditation
I am joyful for this message today because I can truly say that the things I am passions about fuel my joy and empower me to share that joy!
Verbal journaling sounds interesting and sounds like something I want to try. What’s the process, do you record videos of yourself?
I journal when the mood hits me. I don’t seem to be one who writes things down. I like to keep it in my head. Why I don’t know, probably because I don’t have time or should I say I don’t make time.
i don’t journal just because i will tell myself what i did that day, or i’ll tell my dog because she can’t tell anyone. also sometimes i have a hard time writing down how i’m feeling, it’s so much easier for me to talk instead of write.
I journal weekly and yes I do recommend it. It is a great way to plan out your day or make a schedule. But it is also a great way to get your feelings and thoughts written down and I love it.
I don’t Journal daily. But I have written down certain life lessons I have learned in my life, so that the next generation can use it as a resource.
What a cool journal or notebook that must be!
