Thank you!
It happens all the time. It’s like a reminder to pause, assess and recalibrate to get back on track. Minimize the distractions and get focused again. A wake up call.
I totally agree!
This is exactly what I was thinking of too! Well said Kell!
Setbacks in my workouts always push mento come back harder and stronger.
Yes, I find this happens when I do weightlifting, If i fail at something like trying to bench a certain weight, it’ll tend to push me the following day and I end up doing it or doing it better. This frequently happens also when i’m working out regularly too, like running, shooting, etc. I try to always beat a score or time and if I fail it just pushes me harder the next time I do it
Many times!!! Most recently when I failed to qualify for a promotion because I lost sight of what I needed to do and focused more on what other people needed to do ( which I knew better than to rely on my expectations of the actions of others)
I have not missed it since and earn d a trip to Cabos San Lucas
Wow! Congrats!!
It happens so many times!!!!
Definitely!
My 3rd year in college I failed psychiatric nursing. It was the 1st time I ever failed a class in my life and I was devastated. I remember my mother saying to me didn’t you ever think you would fail, To which I replied no! Who thinks that, lol.
When I repeated the class I was so determined to make sure I knew everything I needed to pass with an A. As a result of that focus, I fell in love with Is psychiatry and it has been my career choice since that time. Currently I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner probably because I felt that class.
That’s amazing Loris!
Yes. I feel like that’s what life is all about. It’s full of failures and what it is you do as a result of them. I wouldn’t say that failure or setbacks propelled me to success but, I know that just looking at it as a simple moment in time, allows me to push through and become very successful in many things in life.
Definitely! This has happened many times, but the time that stands out is when I injured myself. I was fueled, focussed, driven and hungry which led to success in my recovery and following seasons.
