If I had a time machine, I would go to the future to observe my daughter’s life when I’m gone. I’m so proud of her now and she’s only 6, I can’t imagine how proud I’ll feel when she’s 60..
[Or maybe I’ll still be here in 54 years. Who knows..]
Thank you Coach for creating this 1%tribe. It’s definitely helping to become better.
If I had a time machine, I would go back in time to make the right choices with the Virtues I have acquired today.
Neither. My past has shaped me into the person I am today and I love who I am. I’m working towards the future and I love seeing what each day brings. Traveling to the future would be like a movie spoiler. If I know the outcome I don’t want to see it. I enjoy living in the present and embracing each new day as a surprise.
I don’t think I want to do either. I would love to go back to the past and Change decisions I regret but that may change some of the ones I don’t. Good or bad what has occurred has made and shaped me . I am still evolving and like the direction I am headed.
Any moment in time is just a moment. It is the journey to that moment that gives us growth
and perspective.
The only reason I’d step back in time would be to see how my parents were when they were kids. I just think that would be so cool. But really, I don’t know if I’d pick either. Of course I want to know the future but I also don’t want to be spoiled by it. This is a great question!
I love 1% coach thank you for making it! I don’t know if I would chose to go either way I love my life how it is and I’m excited to see what surprises the future holds. I would stay right here in this time period.
I would go to the future and see how my life is then(job, relationships etc). I can always change my future for the better or worse depending on the decisions I make.
That would be a good idea, but what if in attempting to avoid a bad future, you make it come true? 🤔
I should have typed it a little differently. I meant to say that I just wanted to see what would happen if I continue on this path. I just want to see the end result of the person I am. I dont want to change it there and then, but after I come back to the spot on the timeline I am at right now.
If I had a time machine I would go go back to the past when I was very little or a baby to see what I was like.
I would go back in time… repairing relationships that needed healing to those who are no longer here, be kinder to myself, hold myself in higher regard and say I love you more
I’m not going anywhere in a time machine. I appreciate the journey thus far and have no desire to go backwards. And the unknown of the future allows me to still be a dreamer and I wouldn’t want to take that away.
Good morning everyone! Please follow @1percenttribe on Instagram 🙂
The only reason I would go back in time is to spend more time with my grandparents. I believe everything happens for a reason and I am grateful that my past has made me who I am now. But I would really enjoy more time with my grandparents.
I definitely agree. I love how my grandparents are lively, loving, and funny now, so I think that we could have a very great time while they were young. But I wouldnt change anything that could effect my present cause I am so proud of who I have become.
I wouldn’t go back to the past or step ahead to the future. By living in the moment, I’m able to take the lessons from my past and apply them to the present, which will have a direct impact on my future.
Jumping to the future would definitely be a spoiler. Loving the anticipation of not ‘what’s next??’! I doubt I would do either if given a choice – but it would be nice to be able to talk to my younger self. I’d tell her to develop better habits, use education to find your passion (vs a job) and love yourself relentlessly!
I would go back with pictures and videos so I could show my dad his granddaughter and how incredible she is. Unfortunately he passed before she was born. But I have no doubt he would beam with pride and happily give me good advice on how to be a better parent.
I would go forward back in time to around 1960 to warn everyone about the grave dangers that may come (based on my “predictions”, of course) if we do not take action (ie: climate change, world hunger, etc.), then go back to a hopefully happier future.
That would wipe you out of existence
I’d go to the future, if only because of the repercussions of going to the past. Even the smallest impact you make might change things and wipe you out of existence, so I think I would want to go 20 years into the future to see where I am then.
If I had a time machine I would love to step ahead to the future to see how I am looking & how far I am going in my career! Also would love to see my kids Settled in there life!
I would go back in time as an observer, without interfering with any life. I’m curious about what life was life before I was born and I would want to watch people and experience it — maybe when my parents were kids or maybe way back in time to ancient Rome or a place like that.
If i had a time machine, I would go back in to time so i can watch every one of the 1990-1991 Bulls games
I would step back in time. I love my life and like the learning process. I would enjoy reliving some of my past experiences and having a few do overs. I would not want to miss any part of my journey so going forward in time holds no appeal for me.
If I had a time machine I would step ahead into the future to be able to get a glimpse at where I’ll be. I wouldn’t want to change the past because everything that has happened has helped me become who I am now.
Progress is slowed trying to reach a goal, but you are still getting closer to the finish line. Fast progress isn’t something that comes easy and it’s stressful as well. Little by little, day by day, we will always be moving forward even if it’s long. The prize is great, but the journey is greater!
I would want to go back in time to learn about history that pertains to my race. Slavery, bondage, segregation, and inequality is something that I want to see to experience the African Americans civil rights leader to appreciate the ones who came before and paved the way to what America is now.
I think I would decide to go back in time. Revisiting old ones is definitely worth more than seeing the unknown. I would always be able to go backwards if the present isn’t as appealing
I would want to move forward in time because i am who i am now because of my past experiences and my present experiences will shape my future. Id curious to see what my future would be.
