I’m aware that I put on some weight. I acknowledged it’s no ones fault but mines. Ive accepted the weight gain and decided it’s time to loose the weight. Now I’m doing my part to get the extra pounds off.

Becoming aware. Is the first part of the cycle that stands out most to me at this moment. Becoming aware gives you the opportunity to make a decision of continuing the same actions or doing something different for a different result. That’s the punch in the face.

Like the video. Nothing will change without changing your self. I agree!

I liked the thought… the cycle of change. I think at different times I have identified with most of the listed experiences. The most common for me are hide ( avoid the conflict) rationalize and ignore. Those seemed to be the avenues I tend to take before addressing a change.

Acknowledge – the path to becoming self-aware and necessary for growth and change.
