It doesn’t take long before asking for help. The ask is immediate. But do find myself asking the question, “did I ask the right cavalry?”. To later learn this may not be the one.
I think that it depends on the situation but most of the time I’ll find myself waiting until it gets really bad to ask a question.
I usually ask to help when I am stumped. Often, just thinking of the question I have helps me solve the problem. Asking for help doesn’t make you weak or dumb. That is why I usually ask early on if I am really stumped. But, here are some problems with asking too early and too late.
Great points Sidd!
I rarely ask for help and that’s mainly so I won’t be disappointed. I’ve learned that people don’t do like me so to save the hurt I don’t bother. Now when I’m sick, cause I’m stubborn, I usually wait until I’m at my worst before I go to the doctors.
i take a very long time to ask for help. i normally try to get it on my own and it still takes a very long time for me to ask for help.
It’s all depending about the situation. I would do by myself as much as I can but if it’s really need to be done faster then I’ll not wait to ask for help.
I feel like I am always asking questions. If it is an obstacle and their is someone available that had knowledge on the situation…I am asking.
I am definitely willing to ask for help especially with subjects I am unfamiliar with. When I was younger, I used to ask way too early, but now I give myself time to try to work out the problem myself before asking.
I have learned to call and ask for help or support when I need it. I agree it needs to be yhe right cavalry.
Giving help or support to others and believing you will never need the same is arrogant..
I have learned to ask for help soon after I face an obstacle. I don’t always ask as early as I should, but I’ve definitely learned not to suffer in silence.
I wait too long to ask for help. I have convinced myself that I have to be desperate to ask for help. That id a lie in one sense and true in another. I am more desperate than I realize at the beginning so there is no reason to wait as long as I do.
