Thank you!
To be honest, I just push myself so I can get it over with
I usually say “ let’s do this!” And then clap my hands. I then start the action immediately. This gets me started and momentum and motivation from those three words helps me push through.
I just tell myself you can do this and then do it. I then just try my hardest to do that thing.
I’m actually very specific in my own motivations. For example I’ll tell myself I’m going to make 3 calls to clients before I watch the 1% video today. I enjoy the videos so that’s my reward. When things get extra crazy with rescheduling for snow or covid I remind myself that alot of people have gone out of business and I’m blessed to be thriving and busy. I realize that grinding and toughness keeps me focused and in business.
Hi April! I love that you think of things you are grateful for! What a great perspective to have.
To me everything is mind control. I give myself a Leo talk and take on what I need to hear strong. Along the way if my motivation is dying I chant positive mantras.
well sometimes i don’t want to do the difficult thing so either i tell myself to never lower my expectations of myself so then i keep going. or i just say to myself this is going to help you in the future.
Hi Hayden! I do this too!
Yes, i ask myself, “are you going to regret this if you don’t do it?”
I do the same thing Tori. I usually know I am going to regret not doing it, so I just try to get it done early.
Similar to Hayden, I tell myself I can’t lower my standards and this is going to help me in the future. I also repeat phrases and mantras from difference videos to motivate me.
I agree with this, I believe that once u make excuses for things, they become poor habits, so just pushing through and looking ahead is very helpful.
gm, in conjunction with the tips above
I usually try to follow that. studies show that 11am is the time the brain is fully optimal..I agree with this so i
do tough/annoying tasks at that time😙
I’m a big believer in writing things down. Once I write it down that I have to do it, I want to be able to cross it out. This usually pretty works well for me.
I think of my why. Meaning why am I doing this and what am I doing it for.
I usually think about what the results will be like, I think about it will all we worth it and that i would regret not doing it.
Remind myself of why I am doing the task, the goal.
Nothing quick and simple, but I talk to myself, give myself a pep and look at what I gain by getting the difficult task done.
I usually just tell myself to power through it for the end result.
I don’t really have a certain way that I motivate myself to do difficult tasks, if I have to do them I will just try to do them to get it over with, but if it isn’t required I won’t always do all of it, or I will do it poorly.
I need big reason to motivate myself but once I get motivated I will push myself to achieve the goal.
I normally just block all distractions and timebox to complete the required task
