I found today’s challenge extremely easy, considering that I don’t have a phone.

I think that phones are becoming some of the greatest distractions, because of the attraction people have towards social media, and sometimes video games. People often waste hours at a time on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc., when they could be doing something productive. Personally, I enjoy programming much more than using those apps/websites.

The quote for the day is often easier said than done. My phone is not the culprit, unless I ignore the fires that need to be put out.
I do love the quote though!
Challenge accepted! The phone will be shut down for an hour after I complete my work!
I wanted to share something with everyone
I watched something very funny last night before I went to sleep and woke up smiling
This may be the beginning of a new habit!
Make today an amazing day!!!!!

This was an interesting challenge and marries well with my goal to read more. So I will not only turn of my phone but will also disconnect from my IPAD and laptop.

I use my phone for my business pretty much all day. But I usually will put my phone down from 7-8:30 then every so often will check to see if anything important is on there.

I removed Instagram off my phone which I felt like was one of my distractions. I deleted it with the purposes of trying to get back to where I was at with basketball.

Challenge accepted! It’s actually quite great not being on my phone for a consistent amount of time. I experience more and enjoy more, like the hobbies I like to do. Loved the message today!

I am definitely tied to my phone, I would not say I am addicted. It is not unusual for me to walk off and leave my phone behind. I don’t know how objective I am on the topic. This could be a blind spot. I need to ask someone close to me.

I thought this was quite easy due to the fact that I was just having a normal conversation with my sister, the phone just sat there for a good hour. I believe the idea is that if I’m occupied doing something else then I wouldn’t even think of my phone.

Distractions will pause your progress, and in some cases, take away some of the progress you have made to achieve your goal. Time is precious, we don’t have time to stop and avert your attention to something that is meaningless towards the goal you want to achieve.

Turning off my phone for an hour isn’t hard at all. When the phone bill wasn’t paid, I found it easier to focus on living. I felt free of the responsibility to respond

Ive been talking about this since 2009. Even wrote a report on it in school at Rutgers. About human reaction and daily habits just walking about the campus. It was crazy to see then now its become the norm.
