Small Goals, Big Results
- I see making smaller goals as a start to being system focused instead of goal focused [as long as you keep going]. Do you agree? Please share in the comments.

I agree that making smaller goals as a start to being system focused instead of goal focused. I would like to find that Addidas ad that was mentioned in the video because I feel as if I have committed to goals so many times in the same way… just to the mailbox. I could really relate to the speaker when he spoke about opening the doors for his son, but he can’t do anymore for him… that his son has to do the work. So true!!
It’s funny. I am working on a very big project and the setting of smaller goals in the bigger pics has made the task much more manageable.
This also applies in many other areas too
I totally agree.
Definitely agree. And when you make the changes in small chunks, they slip into your routine easier without even realizing it
I agree. I’m trying to lose a few pounds so instead of shooting for the larger goal and possibly getting disappointed I’m setting smaller goals like 5lbs each month.
I agree. Like it’s been stated in previous messages – every team has the same goal in the beginning. It’s the systems that make a difference.
Yes I agree because you have to take everything one step at a time. It will not work if you try to make large goals with no idea how to get there. You have to do the little things. By focusing more on the small steps you can grow better.
I agree! I realllllllllly liked the ‘just to the …’ idea! Great video today Coach Q! I definitely believe that small steps should be the beginning of a system. Building a system with small steps often keeps my head up and helps me keep on going.
I agree with the thought of smaller goals making tasks more manageable. Small goals help build a routine. Only having an end goal leaves room for sloppiness and inconsistency
I agree, the way to tackle anything big is to divide it into smaller steps
I agree because if you focus continuously on small goals, you can trick your mind into never getting tired of achievement. Not achieving the goal is out of the question because of the habit you created, and now the success becomes inevitable as long as you continue moving forward.
