“Bravery is the audacity to be unhindered by failures, and to walk with freedom, strength, and hope, in the face of things unknown.” ~Morgan Harper Nichols

My favorite is a book. I like to read the words and turn the pages. I focus more that way
👍🏽
My favourite is audio books or Podcasts because I am an audio learner so I maintain more of the information when it’s presented that way.
👍🏽
If I had to choose just one, I love books. It’s just something about the feel of the pages and turning them. I’m more engaged that way and for some weird reason I don’t feel the same about audiobooks. If I had to choose a second one, I’d say podcasts. I love listening to the news or just anything about life with podcasts. Super fun.

My favorite is books. I like books because you know how much you’ve read and you can just flip the pages back if you feel you left a page. Also if your on a time spam then you’ll know how much more you’ll have to read.
🔥
I love books but cannot seem to find time in the day to read. My new passion is audiobooks – I listen while doing my other favorite thing – walking my dog.
I prefer articles or videos because of my time and vision challenges. The vision issue isn’t dangerous but does not allow for long periods of reading due chronic dry eyes but I do not let it deter me because it does not stop me from everything else I can and do with joy daily.
I recently learned that some family members are ungrateful and selfish ( shocking) and I have decided to not let their silent yet blaring judgment deter me from doing what I need to do and leave them to their own spaces. There is no place for them in my journey. My joy is worth way more.
Hi Eileen! I agree, we can’t let those people disturb our journey and happiness!
You definitely are right about that! Thanks!
Absolutely be strong and focused within yourself. If others don’t have your permission they can’t define you. Keep up your positive attitude. Besides I know you well and you’re an awesome human being.
👍 ❤
I forgot to add that I have always been an avid reader and love the page turning and the excitement of immersing myself in a good story or née personal development technique
Books and videos are my favorite way to retain information. I focus more and like seeing the information written out and in visuals.
My favorite is books. I enjoy them while I am waiting at my kids’ lessons and before I go to bed. Being in a book club has given me the chance to read different genres and authors I wouldn’t normally select for myself. I also have to admit I enjoy many of the inspirational videos you have posted, Coach. I don’t search for them on my own, so I love having one to watch everyday from you.
🙏
Videos are my favorite! I feel like whenever I watch videos, that information “sticks” better.
I need to be careful with who I trust. Figure out someone’s intentions before trusting them.
My favorite is videos and books. I love to read books because I can visualize what I am taking in and I love videos because I get to listen and look at a visual at the same time.
It’s between books and videos. They allow me to stop and take notes if need be.
I love audiobooks I’m in a car easily 8 hours a day and I can listen and learn without running into the nearest tree 🌳 Lol.
I like a video most for learning because the visuals and whatnot make it easier to learn. For fun, I like reading books more because it leaves the world to my imagination.
I prefer books.
Also, I did some calculations, and if you get 1% better every day for 2 years, you are 1400% better. (I think I may have gotten this wrong…)
And after 3 years it would be 54000
(All of this is approximate)
My favorite is books, because it tends to alleviate my headaches from screen time. Podcasts are also good, but I’m particular about finding the right one because I want to stay interested!
Hi Ally! I agree, I also enjoy podcasts but some I get bored of very easily.
My favorite is a video because the combination of the visuals, audio, and reading the subtitles helps me understand whatever the video is about more. Compared to the other methods, it helps me focus and retain more of the information without having to rewatch the video a lot of times.
❤️
My favourite is books or slides. Books helps me to focus by removing all distractions. I also like slides as they help summarize details and can help determine if I would like to drill into further details.
My favorite is video. I always feel I improve my exercise habit by watching video. It gives me motivation if I do with someone, like Zumba, yoga or any kind of exercise!
A lesson I learned from the recent past is that I need to start small and build my way up. I realized that I was not succeeding in accomplishing some of my weekly goals. I realized that I was taking too much of a step and that sometimes you need to take smaller steps. One of my goals was to wake up earlier, and another was to reduce my screen time. For both of these goals, I realized that my steps were more like jumps, and I wasn’t ready to jump yet. Before you can run, you must walk, before you can walk, before you can walk, you must stand, and to stand you first must be able to crawl. You need to do the small things amazingly before you can do the big things.
Something I intend to the in the near future is to start and finished my morning and night time routine in detail.
To answer the final part of this challenge, I like videos the most. The reason behind this is the fact that videos are auditory, while being visual and kinesthetic at the same time with voices, text, slideshows and for some videos, you even do it along with the person in the video.
I love reading books the most as I get immersed in the book and whatever little time I spend on reading I do pay attention to, than a video or audio.
Bravery will always be meaningful in the long run. Never try to avoid something because of the fear of making a mistake. We will continue to rise in the ranks above others because you were willing to put aside your ego and refusing to be wrong but exceed into a better person. Going into unknown lands will make us much better!
I usually like to watch and learn from videos, I’m more of a visual learning. I don’t know why, but I still get great results from that.
1. Without discipline, you’ll keep failing the same test.
2. Construct a list a rules and follow them to the fullest.
My favorite is podcast. I feel engaged as if I’m in the room. It’s not as tedious as reading. And it’s often fun to watch and listen
Tough one, I just got into audiobooks recently. I like that you can listen to them while working. But, I still love the turn of a page in a book!
Great quote today. Such strength in failures.
Audiobooks/podcasts. I find it that i can get alot done while just listening and for me it sticks better.
