I couldn’t pick one..
Why are these your favorites?
Well, I can break it down one by one..
Biggie is my #1 & “One More Chance Remix” has a great groove to it with witty lyrics, great vocals on the hook & a lot of artists that I really like in the video. The 90’s era was a great time (wish it never ended!) so this song takes me back to that time of life.
Sade sings the soundtrack to my marriage so I could have picked any of about 20 songs from her. April & I fell in love with Sade serenading us in the background. It’s been a long fall because I’m still falling [in love with April, that is..] I chose “Soldier of Love” because it is fun with a playful groove [note: groove is important to me.]
“Luv Dancin'” is new to my favorites list but it shot to the top because it has a driving groove, subtle accents & the melody moves to represent an enthusiastic energy. Whenever this song comes on, I want to start moving to the beat & it puts me in a good mood.
The last two songs put me back in the headspace of being in the facility!
Yes, Scarlett, in regular rotation!
This my favorite song because it’s hypes me up. I used to run long distance and at the start of every race, especially half marathons (was my favorite race) I would start with this song. It gets the blood flowing and it reminds me that I’m a winner and I’m constantly winning at this race called life.
My top 2.
I chose “This is a Move” because it really impacted me this past year. I had it playing on repeat constantly, specifically when in labor with my twin boys. Every time I hear it I feel the Holy Spirit and the entire atmosphere shifts.
“Your turn to Roll” is written and recorded by some incredible voice actors. They are all a part of a Role playing, Dungeons and Dragons game called, Critical Role.
My husband and I spend hours watching them play. This song just hypes me up for whenever I’m not in a good mood. It also helps me get into the right headspace before I sit down to play D&D.
👍
I can’t choose my favorite, I like anything country or by Carrie Underwood who is a country singer.
I love country too!
Artist: Dave East
Title: Need a sign
It was a point in life where I felt lost and I felt every word on a emotional and spiritual level,
I hope this works. It is called “The Song Remembers When” by Trisha Yearwood. I like this song because it reminds me that there are songs that will always take you back to another place and time.
It is difficult for me to choose a favorite song. I have my current favorites which are mostly country music, and then I have songs that fill me with nostalgia. Here is one song I really love. I love country music because I believe the songs have a great rhythm and the lyrics are meaningful.
The Bach Chaconne performed by Heifitz:

For me, it’s a tie between three pieces:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEbi-7tPaqo – Johann Sebastian Bach – Chaconne from Partita no.2 in D Minor – Performed by Jascha Heifetz.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTySRbCofgc – Gustav Holst – Second Suite in F – Performed by University of Michigan Symphony Band
Antonin Dvorak – String Quartet no.12 (American) – Performed by New York Philharmonic string quartet
I cant choose one song, but my favorite artist was Juice Wrld.
Funky Child. I love the beat and the lyrical era in the old school rap game. It’s a great song to vibe and chill to while sitting doing nothing.
I have many favorite songs because when ever I hear a new song I like, I listen to it on repeat for days and try to learn all the words. But one song that I always come back to to listen to it on repeat for days is Do You Remember by Chance The Rapper.
