My top 3 things are being able to afford my necessities, being healthy, and having a support system. A lot of us complain about money, but somebody living worse than us. A lot of us donโ€™t realize that weโ€™re healthy mentally, physically, and emotionally while another person might be struggling from depression or a permanent disability. For example, we often complain about walking while some canโ€™t physically. Lastly, we forget to thank our support system when not many children have one.

3 things that I forget I should be grateful for on an everyday basis is my health, family, and being able to afford what is needed. When Iโ€™m outside play basketball or doing something physically active it occurs to me that some people canโ€™t do that. I have to be more grateful that I have to opportunity to do those things. It also never occurs to me that some people donโ€™t have a family like mine, either theyโ€™re is problems within theirs or it isnโ€™t complete. I should be grateful that that is not the case for me. Finally I never have to worry about if I can afford new clothes or shoes when I grow out of them, or have to wonder where my next meal will come from. I should remember that there are people who have to worry about these things.

Health, Family, Food on the table. So many go through life without these basic blessings yet still find joy and gratitude in their lives. I have so much to be thankful for today!

The fact that I woke up. That I am healthy. That I have a job to go too.

Family, health, my job which I would do for free, my faith, my ability to see goodness and beauty in everything and everyone. These are not listed in order of importance.

Iโ€™m grateful for the roof over my head. Even throughout the process to clean and maintain it may distract me from the blessing it is at times.

Iโ€™m grateful for the car I own even through the stress of paying repairs.

Iโ€™m grateful for a family to care for and love. Even throughout the moments when they may get under my skin.

Man, I am SOOO lucky for almost everything I have. I believe I am one of the most fortunate people on this planet. I have an amazing and deep support system, from direct family, to mentors to friends to further away family, and many more people. Despite my good fortune and luck, I honestly do not show enough gratitude to these people. Here are another 3 things that I do not show enough gratitude to because of the business of the average day…

  1. My surroundings: I often do not show gratitude towards the many people and things in my surroundings that I am soo fortunate to be in. I live in a nice cozy house with an amazing neighborhood of many awesome people.
  2. The ability to go to school, and learn things CONSTANTLY on my own as well as from OTHER people: Though many people feel school is ‘boring’ or ‘annoying’, I can’t agree with that at all. I am so grateful for the opportunity to always be learning and getting better through the knowledge other people already have and are willing to share. I feel I am so lucky for this because there are many people who don’t have people designated to teach me, and they inherently dont have as much opportunity as I do.
  3. The food and drinks I can consume and make: I feel that I am soo lucky to be able to consume and make tasty food on a daily basis. There are billions of people who can’t do this because of where they are. Not only that, but I can also drink as much water as I want EVERYDAY!

These are just three things that I am showing gratitude to now. As this day goes on, I will be showing extra gratitude to my support system around me. Since I feel everyone here supports me as well, I am going to say…

THANK YOU! Thank you for having an opinion, sharing that opinion, or just taking the time to read what I have written. Many of you are double my age (maybe triple or quadruple) yet I still feel like a part of this community. I appreciate all of the support you have given to me, and everyone else here. You help keep this amazing blog by Coach Q running. And for some reason, even if you despise me, I want to say thank you for having your own opinion! So all in all, THANK YOU!๏ปฟ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๏ปฟ

Family, health, and my spiritual walk are the three most important things that I’m grateful for .. And the only three that I have to discipline myself the most to focus more time on.

The three things I am grateful for but tend to get neglected are my health, the fact that both my parents are still with me and the support of my family.

Iโ€™m grateful for all that my parents do for me, I leave them unthanked far too much. Iโ€™m grateful for my dog who likes to spend time with me during online school, and Iโ€™m also grateful for the place which I live, sometimes I wish for less winter or complain its too hot, but I really do love the changing seasons.

Three things I forget to be grateful for an everyday basis are the health of my family and I, food on the table and my education. I am so grateful of my health and the health of my parents and that we are able to have food on the table everyday without struggling. I am also soo grateful for my education. Even during tough times like covid, school is still easily accessible and I am grateful for having that opportunity for being able to learn when others might not have it.

The three things I have gratitude for include my mom helping me with whatever she can, my dad helping me with school and programming, and my brother helping me with my mindset and understanding what i have to do to achieve certain goals in school and eventually college.

As said by someone I know:

“My day was GREAT! So this morning, I WOKE UP, which I know a lot of people don’t do.

Life itself is a gift many do not appreciate (myself included)
I am able to wake up every day
Not only that, but I wake up on a bed under a roof. I’m so lucky to be born into a family that is well off.
Also very importantly, when I wake up, my brother, mom, dad, and sister are in rooms across the hallway, with my dog somewhere in between. I have a loving and supportive family, and that’s definately something I am very thankful for.

Three things I am greatful for but neglect with day to day life
1. Water- I take it for granted. I have to learn to use this natural resource with gratitude so I will not waste
2. My daughter- soon she will leave for college and I know I am going to miss her a lot though day to day we fight and complain ๐Ÿ˜€
3. My health- I am so thankful and grateful for my health and physical abilities to be able to function day to day, care for my family and help others in need. I have to care for my physical fitness.
