Well it’s not original it’s actually taking things back to the old school. But I believe actually writing a small handwritten note of gratitude and mailing it. It is a very rare thing for someone to receive something personal (not a bill Lol) in the mail nowadays and I know for me it’s a pleasant surprise.

I am a fan of sending flowers, or a flowering plant even to males .
Each time the person looks at them they are reminded of the fact that someone took the time and thought of them.

The quote today is one that really applies to me. I feel that I spend too much time deciding to start something. A lot of the time I think it will be something hard and challenging, but it is never as bad as it seems once I start it. So I have to do a better job at just starting stuff and not thinking to much about them.

I think my way of saying thank you is if I could see them, or even call them, then I would say what I need to say. I would love to talk because I’m much better at saying what I want to say then writing/typing it.

I agree! The other day I had a call with my grandparents, and it was so refreshing reminding them how much I love and appreciate them.

I enjoy reaching out and showing my gratitude in either a call, text, or letter. It really shows them that I’m thinking of them and care enough to reach out.

My thank you gifts varies because I try to get them something they mentioned they needed, enjoy, haven’t had in a while, etc. so that I can make it personal & thoughtful. Also, a good old fashion genuine thank you over the phone or face to face.

The art of a sincere thank you and how what someone has done for you said verbally is very important. Looking someone in the eye and speaking from your heart is so under rated. I have had students thank me at the end of a school year or before the graduate! I am in tears everytime. The hug, words, and gratitude. Means so much.

It depends on the person. Usually, if it is someone really close to me (family, and some very close friends) I like to make things myself. Such as a homemade cake, a special card with something special and different about it, etc. Even if it turns out bad, it usually does create laughs. I feel like the aspiration and thought behind the gift is more important than the gift in the first place. For example, I feel like if someone were to give me a homemade card made with love, I value that over a gift card given without love.

I would take every opportunity to thank them & willing to help them in any kind of help they need at any time!

The way I can thank one of my supports is by helping them with something they need or just by supporting them the way they did me.

I would make a delicious meal for them so they can enjoy and take a break from their routine. This is my way of showing gratitude to the people I care about.

I love to write so I would find a way to thank them through my writing. I think actual handwritten notes mean so much more to folks than a phone call.

This is a tough one because I always say thank you when something is done for me or with me. I do not like to let the moment go by without saying thank you or sending a thank you gift. Sorry no original ideas here, just common courtesy.

Make a drawing showing my gratitude (with effort put in, maybe something like the family smiling with “Thank You!” on it) and give it to someone.

I like to write a little thank you note, usually with some fancy typing of “THANK YOU” on the front, and a few paragraphs on the inside. If this is a close family member, I might also make breakfast in bed for them.

Truly depends on the person….. I love sharing a meal so my Thank You of choice is treating the person to a wonderful dinner.

I have a friend who I can share my dreams, goals, and tasks who helps and encourage me to stay the course. I will send her a thank you card sharing my gratitude for her support.
