I love this quote! deep…I would say growing up my Mom was one of the wisest people around me. Interesting enough, she had a poster in the house that said, ” Intelligent people talk about ideas, SMART people talk about facts, and regulsr people talk about other people 🙂…Profound. just one example of the positive images of my Mom. So wise in how she raised me.

Aside from Coach Q, I would say my Dad is the smartest/wisest person I know. He works extremely hard, sets his goals and works to achieve them. He is good at balancing work and healthy breaks and when he wants something done he will make a plan and achieve his goal!

I think Q is the wisest person I know because of…
1) The knowledge base he already has

2) the recognition of how much to share and how much would be too much

3) the willingness to always get better

4) the willingness to accept a mistake to himself and other people AND correct it

5) the thought process behind each action he takes ( does everything with a purpose)

6) The willingness to not only work hard, but be aware of what he is doing to improve.

7) Really good at teaching things to people

8) Shares a big chunk of his knowledge with people like us and it directly benefits all of us

There is definitely much more but that is what immediately came to my mind. Thanks for everything Q!

Aside from Q, my mom is the wisest person I know. She has learned a lot from her life experiences and passes those lessons on.

Outside of Q I would have to say my training instructor. What makes them wise is their willingness to give knowledge and information to those that want it. They know that what they give will help move that person to a better point in their life. They’re also willing to get into the trenches with you to work because they understand that there are lessons they can learn as well. To sum it up, what makes them wise is the fact that they are always a student.

My father is the smartest person I know. Not because he achieved great academic or career success – he didn’t. I watched my father my entire life – no matter what hardships he suffered – job loss, death of loved ones, crazy teenager (me years ago), Health issues, etc… – he is always the same positive, optimistic, hard working, resilient man I’ve known my entire life. He has truly mastered life – how to have inner peace and happiness through all circumstances. His attitude is not, and has never been, a function of his circumstances. This, to me, is true wisdom.

I think my Dad is the wisest person he knows. Sometimes he doesn’t always express it in the way I expect, but I know how his experiences from childhood to know have taught him so much.

I love the quote. I am always telling my kids to ask questions, that is how you learn. My first thought was to say my dad to answer your question. He was always my go to person to help with math or answer current event questions and he could fix anything. But, I go to my friend when I am trying to understand others and their thinking and why they may be doing something. And, then I call my other girlfriend when I feel frustrated with myself and need to figure out my feelings and what I want. So, I realized I have many people that I go to for different things, because that is their strengths.. Because so many of us have multiple intelligences, it is hard to say who I would say is the smartest. I always tell my kids there are many ways to show your intelligence!

My father-in-law and couple of colleagues at work. The themes are a lot of experience, willingness to try new things and learning from the mistakes. Not letting past mistakes stopping them from trying new things and taking calculated risks

The wisest person I know would be Coach Q. He is always asking smart questions and making me think a little harder. We always go in depth in our conversations and he makes me view things a different way than I did before or always shows me a different perspective of something. He is knowledgeable is so many different things and is willing to share his knowledge with so many others. I’ve learned so many new things from him and gained more knowledge on many topics.

Wow, I love the quote. The idea of asking questions that are wise lead to so many enlightening and great conversations.
I can’t say the smartest person I know, I will say one of the smartest people I know. That would be my sister Cynthia. She has always had my ear, attention, and respect. Her ability to move through life with understanding, kindness, and service has always made her admirable to me. Mastering he challenges at work, and making those around her better is not an easy task. She has and always will be my shero.

My kids are some of the smartest people I know because they are always reading something They challenge each other to read. My girlfriend Karen is the wisest person I know. She knows how to digest what she reads and make it useful. She ask great questions and she helps me to communicate my thoughts clearly.

I would choose one of the elders in my life. Either my grandfather or a mentor such as Q. And they are wise because of there experience. It allows them to not only answer your questions but provide you with questions that fuel you to continue on your journey.
