I do not struggle with focus, but I sure used to.
These are some things that helped me focus…

1. Prioritizing: Making a todo list helped me identify what I really want to get done in my day and it helps me take action on those things

2. Making targets (goals): goals/targets also helped me realize and put focus on some specific tasks and actions that I wanted done. Identifying the system to get to the goal is a big part of this as it makes the goal actionable and easier to achieve and get to.

3. My environment: A HUGE reason for my improvement in focus was my change of environment. Both physically and somewhat mentally. For example,
a. I stared cleaning my room about twice a week, keeping my room clean improved my focus
b. I also deleted YouTube before I slept, this removed distractions in the morning.
c. Finally, I put some of my favorite quotes on the wall, so when I did get distracted and happened to look up, I would see the quotes and get back to what I should have been doing.

4. These were some of the most helpful things I did, but I am sure there are and were more.

Focus is a super huge aspect to success and your self image. The better and more focused you are, the better and more work you will get done. This may lead to you seeing yourself better and improving your self image as well as it did for me. ๐Ÿ™‚

I liked the thought today! Especially the 20,20,20 rule. I never knew that looking at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 mins can help you focus! I will definitely try it out!

I do all the time. I get side tracked trying to do too many things at once. When this happens I take a couple of breaths to relax and ground myself and I restart; one task at a time.

The main thing that helps me focus is when I am consistent with my meditation practice. In meditation, you learn to focus through your breathing and taking the time to be still. I found that it really does help me with my focus throughout the day.

I do struggle with focus. When I notice myself losing focus I try to clear my thoughts. I center and prioritize what I need to do to regain my focus

I lose focus easily with things Iโ€™m not interested in. When that happens, I change my surroundings. For example, Iโ€™ll go sit in a library if Iโ€™m struggling with focusing I homework.

I mean yeah all the time but my friend gave me this ring that spins so I usually just end up playing with that and after awhile I donโ€™t need it. I just have a hard time sitting still and using the ring helps a lot

Sometimes I struggle to focus on schoolwork. It is usually because I am bored and don’t want to do it. One method I use to regain focus is to turn my phone over so I don’t see any notifications.
I really like #15 in the thought today. I struggle with boredom and always look to fill the void with TV or something on my phone.

Yes, sometimes I do find myself struggling to focus, especially when Iโ€™m trying to get something done later in the day. My way of regaining focus is to meditate for 2-3 minutes, and make a plan in my head during those times of my next few steps, then make a list on paper of them, then get going. Most of the time this happens when I have a bigger task or a long list of homework I need to do, so it’s better to relax first then break it down.

I definitely find myself struggling to focus. Whenever I lose focus and realize, I try to take a break so that I can collect my thoughts and come back to my work with a better mindset.

Yes focus is an ongoing challenge. I usually succumb to the temptation to multitask. This is a huge opportunity area for me. The tips are very helpful. Iโ€™m going to attempt to incorporate at least 2 into my routine and create the habit to improve my ability to focus.

I do struggle with focusing on what I am doing in the moment. I realize that my mind is racing on too many things most of which has nothing to do with the task or action at hand. Recently I started training myself to focus on what I am doing, every motion, idea, body movement. When that is not working I focus on my breath. I am learning to be more intentional with my life.
